Istanbul, June 19, 2025 – Young people and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to take part in the digital world of the future came together at the “Industry 4.0 Skills Summit” held in Istanbul. At the summit, where a total of 68 participants from Turkey, Lithuania and France participated, the opportunities offered by Industry 4.0, digital transformation processes and the skills needed in this field were discussed. Delegations of 48 people from Turkey and 10 people from Lithuania and France attended the summit. Participants had the opportunity to receive comprehensive information about the concept of Industry 4.0, the effects of digitalization on the business world and project examples in this field. The aim of the event was to increase the awareness of young people and SME representatives about digital skills with the presentations and workshops held throughout the event.
One of the striking parts of the summit was the sessions where young people and business world representatives could communicate directly. In these sessions, industry professionals gave career advice to young people and shared the expectations of the business world from young people in the digital transformation process. Beyond being just an informative event, the “Industry 4.0 Skills Summit” once again demonstrated the importance of the human factor in digital transformation by providing a meaningful interaction environment between young people and the business world.
