Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts invited representatives of production companies and youth from Panevėžys region to participate in the workshop “Skills for Industry 4.0” on February 27, 2024.
The event was organized in order to introduce industry representatives and young future employees of the manufacturing sector to the digital, technological and soft skills required for the stage of Industry 4.0 development and, after conducting an anonymous survey, to find out their opinion about the current situation in the labor market and the real needs of companies.
Organizers have invited two guests who represent companies that develop artificial intelligence systems, provide services by fully automating/robotizing production processes to present the participants with the latest methods of using artificial intelligence and robots, which help to increase the efficiency and accuracy of production processes and improve the quality of products. The speakers competently and convincingly conveyed the message to representatives of manufacturing companies that the transition to the Industry 4.0 stage is inevitable in order to successfully compete and develop business.
